Ms Anelia Baijoo
Ms. Anelia Baijoo began dancing at the age of eighteen with the Nirvana Dance Company where she did a fusion of a number of dance styles.

While she enjoyed doing various genres of dance she always had a unique inclination towards learning authentic Indian classical dance. This led her to first being exposed to the fine arts under Dr. Rakesh Prabakar followed by Mrs. Pooja Malhotra.

In her pursuit of learning and growing as an artiste in Kathak, she enrolled with the Kathak Kala Sangam (KKS), the Institute of the Fine Arts, currently studying under the distinguished artistic director, Dr. Satnarine Balkaransingh.

Not only is Ms. Baijoo a student of the Sangam, she has demonstrated diligence, integrity and has earned the respect from her peers to which she was appointed to the post of Student Representative. She continues to grow in her training and looks forward to greater development in her pursuits of being a qualified Kathak artiste.
